HCA Virginia’s Chippenham Hospital is recruiting fulltime Critical Care/Trauma Surgeons to join a large private practice for their Trauma Acute Care Surgery (TACS) Division. The level II program at Chippenham Hospital currently treats 1,000+ cases annually with 6-7% of those being penetrated wounds. The program is expected to increase in the upcoming year due to community demand and the success of the program.

Qualified candidates:

• Must be BC/BE in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
• Must hold current ATLS certification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Hospital - The Chippenham campus is a 400+ bed hospital with very strong clinical services in Cardiac Surgery, Vascular and General Surgery including in-house Level II Trauma Acute Care Surgery, Cardiology, Pulmonary, Renal and Interventional Radiology among others. Pre-eminent Oncologic and Neurosurgery services are rendered at the Johnston-Willis campus of CJW Medical Center. The emergency department is the busiest in the Richmond community resulting in greater than 95,000 visits per year.
