The Trauma Data Coordinator is responsible for abstracting and entering cases into the trauma registry database; performing reliability and validity checks; attending industry conferences and trauma performance improvement and registry validation meetings; and processing registry reports for statistical purposes on a routine basis.
- Associate’s degree in medical record technology; bachelor’s preferred
- Allied Health professional with related skills will be considered
- Previous coursework in Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, or Coding also accepted
