The Trauma PI Coordinator collaborates with the Trauma Medical Director and Trauma Program Manager in establishing standards of practice for the trauma patients.
He/she will assess and evaluate the nursing care of trauma patients at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. Perform concurrent and retrospective review of trauma charts for Performance Improvement and Quality Assurance. The coordinator will promote the professional development of trauma nursing and perform all duties in accordance with the Pennsylvania Trauma System Foundation.

-Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, developmental, social, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served in their service.
Training & Education:
-Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
-BSN required. MSN preferred
-STN TOPICS Course
- Microsoft Office/Excel
Experience: Prior work experience suitable for the position is preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility: Clinical oversight of care delivered to trauma patients
Required Licenses: Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure or temporary practice permit
