The Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator works in collaboration with Trauma Medical Director and the Director Trauma Services to improve the quality of trauma care encompassing all areas and disciplines of the hospital that participate in the management of the injured patient. The Trauma PI Coordinator is responsible for coordination and facilitation of the multidisciplinary trauma performance improvement program including data collection, analysis, trending and benchmarking of data and outcomes while maintaining confidentiality. Also participates in trauma registry data collection; core elements include database management, data validations, injury coding and scoring, statistical data analysis; report design; supporting outreach, injury prevention and research initiatives. Current License as Registered Nurse in state of Pennsylvania. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
PTSF Trauma Nurse Course required within one year of hire date
Clinical Performance Improvement experience required; Emergency Department, Trauma Program and/or Critical Care experience preferred.
