Trauma Program Manager

The Trauma Program Manager (TPM) is responsible for the organization of services and systems necessary for a multidisciplinary approach to providing care to injured patients.

Job Responsibilities

The TPM is responsible and has the authority for the development, implementation, and evaluation of the trauma services program. The TPM is co-manager of the trauma program with the Trauma Medical Director (TMD). The TPM works in close collaboration with the TMD and complements the Director’s efforts. Ultimate accountability for the trauma program resides with the Trauma Medical Director.

Job Requirements

The TPM has the educational preparation and clinical experience in the care of injured patients to include a minimum of 16 hours of internal or external trauma related continuing education per year.

Must have Trauma Program Manager experience!

Education: Associate’s degree required. RN or Bachelor’s degree Preferred.

Experience : Minimum of 5 years of Clinical Nursing experience in ED/ICU/Trauma/or minimum of 2-3 years of Clinical Program Management Operations experience

License: N/ACertifications: TOPIC, TQUIP, TPM ATS Course; & ISS Grading. If Nursing (to be obtained within 8 months of hire)
