The Trauma Program Manager (TPM) for performance improvement and data quality is a registered nurse who is fundamental to the development, implementation, and evaluation of the overall trauma performance improvement and patient safety program. 

Job Responsibilities

The TPM is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive performance improvement and patient safety plan in accordance with the most recent version of the Resources for Optional Care of the Injured Patient. The TPM is an expert practitioner who develops and implements data driven program initiatives, manages the performance improvement process and assists in clinical education, research and community outreach . In addition, the TPM must interface within the health system and externally to address opportunities for improvement both clinical and operational and develop initiatives to address them.

Position Requirements

Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate program in Nursing.Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia. Three (3) or more years of clinical experience in trauma/ICU or ED experience. One (1) year of management experience.

Preferred Requirements

Masters Degree. PI experience. Previous experience with quality management, Six Sigma or A3 training.
