2018 Erlanger Trauma Symposium scheduled for August

The 11th annual Erlanger Trauma and Critical Care Symposium will take place August 9-10, 2018, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The symposium will include trauma presentations and a day of hands-on training.

Day 1: Trauma and Critical Care Conference (Thursday, August 9)

Experts will discuss current trends in the care of the acutely injured patient all along the treatment continuum, from initial injury to discharge and beyond. Featured keynote speaker Colonel Todd E. Rasmussen, MD, FACS, will talk about Military Innovations: Impact on Civilian Trauma.

Day 2: Cadaver & Skills Lab (Friday, August 10)

Attendees will have the opportunity to expand their skills by learning multiple procedures and interventions for trauma patients. Experience 18,000 square feet of hands-on training in interventions for trauma patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric and anywhere in between.

The Erlanger Trauma and Critical Care Symposium will offer trauma and continuing education credit for EMTs, paramedics, first responders, nurses and physicians. A special conference lodging rate is available at the Chattanooga Marriott.
