The Virtual Summit on Trauma Data Management
Recent innovations in trauma registry technology are changing the way trauma registry teams capture and manage data — and transforming the way trauma program leaders use data to drive trauma center performance.
The Virtual Summit on Trauma Data Management is a one-day online conference that will focus on the knowledge and skills that both trauma data professionals and trauma program leaders need to succeed in the emerging world of advanced trauma data systems.
Trauma System News is seeking trauma professionals who want to share their insights and solutions for efficiently capturing trauma data, ensuring trauma data quality, and using data technology to improve trauma patient care and trauma center operations.
We are looking for presentations that address the following issues:
New ideas and approaches for using technology and process redesign to perform advanced data validation
How is your team using data analytics to interpret registry data and create actionable steps for improving care?
What is the key to creating powerful trauma data reports and effective data visualizations?
How is your team using data and data tools to improve patient care and trauma center operations?
What process changes and staffing model innovations are helping registry teams work more efficiently and effectively?
How is your trauma program approaching the challenge of developing a data quality plan that is both manageable and effective?
What knowledge and skills do trauma registrars need to thrive in the world of advanced trauma data systems?
How is your center using AI and other technologies to streamline data capture and generate more useful trauma data?
Presentations should be 1 hour in length, and each presentation may include up to 3 speakers. Individuals are welcome to submit multiple proposals.
Proposals should include complete speaker information, a presentation title and summary, learning objectives, and a description of any tools or resources that will be provided to attendees. (For complete details, see the Presentation Proposal Form below.)
The deadline for submissions is January 31, 2025. Proposals will be evaluated for overall quality, practical value and contribution to a balanced program. Accepted presenters will be notified by February 14. The Virtual Summit on Trauma Data Management will take place on March 26, 2025.
