Are you ready to expand your horizons in the Trauma Registry field? Pomphrey Consulting is seeking experienced full-time employees and part-time independent contractors to join our dynamic team. We offer the flexibility to set your own hours—daytime, evenings, or weekends—all while working remotely.
Our team works across state lines, providing opportunities to abstract diverse injury cases and gain exposure to various hospital levels and trauma centers. We’re looking for detail-oriented professionals who are committed to excellence in trauma data abstraction.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, prioritize, and code trauma patients for inclusion in local, state, and national data collection systems.
• Collect, enter, and validate trauma registry data while meeting tight deadlines.
• Abstract and interpret trauma-specific data from medical records and ensure accurate coding (ICD-10-CM, AIS, E-codes).
• Verify clinical information to ensure alignment with standard care practices.
• Maintain data integrity and security in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) and other tools to streamline data abstraction and troubleshooting.
• Stay updated on federal, state, and regulatory trauma data reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years as a Trauma Registrar.
• Education: Successful completion of Trauma Registrar, ICD10, and AIS courses.
• Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office; basic anatomy, physiology, and clinical data coding knowledge.
• Certifications: CSTR and CAISS preferred.
