Trauma center leaders pen opinion piece in Boston Globe

Gerard Doherty, MD, and Peter Burke, MD, FACS, marked the one-year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing with an opinion piece in the Boston Globe. Doherty is surgeon-in-chief and Burke is the chief of trauma services at Boston Medical Center. The editorial commends the readiness of the Boston-area trauma community—which includes five Level I trauma centers—to respond to mass casualties. Full Story
