HCA will waive activation fee for uninsured patients

The Hospital Corporation of America announced in April that it will waive trauma center activation fees for patients who are uninsured, according to a Tampa Bay Times report. HCA activation fees for Florida trauma centers averaged $27,644 during the first half of 2013. Full Story
