Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind., was recognized by the state Trauma and Injury Prevention Division as an “In the Process” Level III trauma center in June 2014. The hospital is the only medical facility south of Indianapolis to receive this state designation. Good Samaritan has two years to achieve ACS Level III verification.
