Paoli Hospital in Chester County, Penn., was recently re-accredited by the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation as a Level II trauma center. Since its launch in October 2010, the hospital has treated over 6,200 trauma patients. According to the hospital, more than 96% of trauma patients reach Paoli within the “golden hour.” Previously, only 37% of Chester County trauma patients reached a trauma center within the one-hour timeframe.
