By Trauma News on June 20, 2022 Trauma Nursing

Is your trauma program committed to nursing excellence through specialty certification? The Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN) is now accepting nominations for the BCEN 2022 National Certification Champion Awards.

The National Certification Champion Awards program recognizes organizations that provide exceptional support for trauma, emergency and transport nursing certification. Award winners:

  • Exemplify excellence in supporting emergency RNs who pursue BCEN certifications
  • Show achievement in designing and implementing effective and innovative practices and programs that encourage, support and recognize emergency nursing specialty certification
  • Demonstrate the impact of a board-certified emergency nurse workforce on patient, nurse and organizational outcomes

Winners will be selected in three categories — small organization, large organization and health system. Nominations may be submitted by any trauma nurse or trauma program staff member.

Honorees will receive a nursing specialty certification support package that includes complimentary all-access passes to an upcoming BCEN Learn Live professional development conference.

For complete details, visit the BCEN’s NCC Awards page.

Submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. (Central) on Friday, July 15, 2022.
