The 2022 edition of Resources for Optimal Care of the Injured Patient represents a major revision of the trauma center standards developed by the American College of Surgeons (ACS).

To help trauma leaders understand the changes, Angie Chisolm, MBA, BSN, RN, CFRN, TCRN, has developed a presentation that crosswalks the 2014 requirements (the Orange Book) to the 2022 Standards in more than a dozen areas of compliance. The presentation also spotlights several other standards that represent new requirements for trauma center verification.
