National survey explores data dictionary use by trauma departments

UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital is conducting a national survey to explore the use of data dictionaries by trauma service departments.

The survey is open to trauma department staff in the following roles: trauma registrar, trauma program manager, trauma nurse clinician/coordinator, clinical quality specialist/performance improvement specialist, program specialist, data specialist, trauma researcher or trauma director.

“Responses are anonymous and findings will be reported in aggregate,” said Angela Vasilatos, BS, trauma registrar. “Our goal is to capture responses for all level of trauma centers around the U.S.”
