A team of trauma researchers is conducting a survey to evaluate the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on personal stress in trauma registry professionals.
The research survey is open to any person who performs registry functions, including trauma registrars, trauma program managers or directors, registry coordinators and data entry specialists.
The survey examines the impact of COVID-19 on individuals’ sense of connectedness and support. It also examines particular sources of stress, including disruptions to routine, job uncertainty and work-life balance. To take the survey, click the link below:

The survey was designed by Barbara Koffske Reid, Ph.D., M.A., M.Ed., LMFT, and Sandra Strack Arabian, MBA, NREMT, CSTR, CAISS.
Reid is the chair of the Wellness & Health Promotion program and core faculty member at Cambridge College in Boston. Arabian is the trauma program director at Tufts Medical Center, an ACS-verified Level I trauma center, and chair of the Healthcare MBA Program at Cambridge College.
The results of the survey will be published in Arabian’s forthcoming book on trauma registry management in the 21st century. The book will include a chapter by Reid on registrar stress and burnout.
