Webinar: Grey Book Verification — Early Lessons from Trauma Centers That Have Been Surveyed Under the New Standards

By Trauma News on November 16, 2023 Program Management

The 2022 Standards are now in effect for trauma centers undergoing verification visits from the American College of Surgeons. But while the new standards have been available for some time, trauma program leaders are unsure how the new requirements will be interpreted by surveyors — and how compliance will be verified within the survey process.

This new webinar brings together two experienced trauma leaders whose programs were among the first to be surveyed under the 2022 Standards. During a candid conversation, Dr. Marco Bonta of OhioHealth and Debra Kitchens of Prisma Health described their recent Grey Book surveys, highlighting the pitfalls and sharing the lessons they learned about the survey process.
