The Virtual Summit on Geriatric Trauma

As the population ages, trauma centers are treating an increasing number of geriatric trauma patients. These patients often present with complex medical issues, calling for new levels of care coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration. 

The Virtual Summit on Geriatric Trauma is a one-day online conference focused on helping trauma program leaders build better systems of care for injured older adults.

The emphasis of this learning event will be on understanding the current challenges and opportunities in geriatric trauma, creating effective protocols and care pathways for older injured adults, and developing comprehensive programs to address the unique needs of older trauma patient across the continuum of care.

The Virtual Summit on Geriatric Trauma will take place on October 22, 2025.
