Parkland Health & Hospital System in Dallas has been reverified as an adult and pediatric burn center by the American Burn Association and the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma.

According to a hospital press release, surveyors commended Parkland for providing excellent burn care to the North Texas region and called its new burn care facility “a model for new burn center construction.”

The surveyors also noted “ample evidence of continued contributions to the field through excellent research and offering the most up to date treatments, including laser therapy.”
