Erlanger Health in Chattanooga, Tenn., will host the Optimal Trauma Center Organization & Management Course on Monday, April 23, 2018.
The Optimal Course was developed by the Society of Trauma Nurses (STN) and the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma (ACS COT) to help trauma program leaders enhance trauma center systems of care. It is recommended for trauma medical directors, trauma program managers and coordinators, hospital administrators, trauma registrars, and regional trauma system staff.
Presenters at the 2018 Erlanger course will include Todd Maxson, MD, Annette Bertelson, RN, Amy Koestner, RN, and Molly Lozada. The speakers will discuss how to create strategies, processes and operations to support trauma systems within the context of a unique hospital environment.
The Optimal Course will take place at Erlanger’s Probasco Auditorium, located at 975 E. 3rd Street in Chattanooga. The fee is $350, which includes meals and a copy of the Optimal Course manual. To register for this event, click here.
