The 12th annual Erlanger Trauma Symposium will take place June 6-7, 2019, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The symposium will include a full day of presentations from trauma experts plus hands-on training in several trauma procedures and interventions.
Day 1: Trauma and Critical Care Conference (Thursday, June 6)
Experts will discuss current trends in trauma care, with a focus on recent care advancements, case presentations, skill application discussions, and updates in trauma and critical care practice.
This year’s keynote speaker is Bryan Cotton, MD, FACS, who will discuss transfusion medicine. Dr. Cotton’s talk is entitled “Back to the Future: The History of Trauma Resuscitation.”

Day 2: Cadaver & Skills Lab (Friday, June 7)
Attendees will have the opportunity to expand their skills through hands-on training. The lab will include simulation experiences, skill procedures on human tissue, and multiple educational stations covering the anatomy of an airway, massive transfusion, damage control resuscitation, and pediatric, OB and geriatric trauma.
The Erlanger Trauma Symposium will offer trauma and continuing education credit. A special conference lodging rate is available at the Chattanooga Marriott.
